A three part series from 1984 that explores the legend of the Leatherman titled “The Road Between Heaven and Hell” aired by Connecticut Public TV and produced by the Connecticut Humanities Council is posted on YouTube. The half-hour video is split into 3 parts, probably because YouTube only lets you post in 10 minute segments.
“Made in 1984 this short documentary tells the story of the legendary 19th century wanderer, the Leatherman. His circular route brought him through towns in New York and Connecticut on a very regular schedule. A new book about the Leatherman, with new information, will be published shortly by Wesleyan University press.”
