The Leatherman's Loop is a 10k trail race held annually each spring. In 2012 the Loop will be held on Earth Day: Sunday, April 22, 2012. The event is held at the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River, NY. Loop starts at 9am. Please see FAQ for arrival time advice. 4/23-24/2011 – This coming week the Sunday Group Runners will be doing a double header (running Saturday and Sunday AM, your choice or do both!) since Sunday is Easter which might present a problem for some folks. We will be meeting both days at the Meadow Parking Lot in Ward Pound Ridge Reservation for a [...] The Leatherman’s Loop is 8 sundays from now. We are meeting each Sunday at 8AM at the Lewisboro Town Park upper parking lot and heading into the Reservation trails (where the Loop is held) from there. The runs vary from 3-7 miles and we can split into different pace and/or distance groups. If you [...] We have started up regular Sunday morning runs. 8AM Sunday mornings. Usually leaving from the Lewisboro Town Park upper parking lot and following a course laid out in this article or this article or some other variation. We will occasionally leave from a different entrance to the park (East Side/Route 124, Honey Hollow Road, [...] The Leatherman’s Loop registration is full for 2011. We wish everyone could come and enjoy the race, but due to limited spots we aren’t able to accommodate all of the runners. Don’t forget to support the many local trail races out there. We had around 30 folks come out for the group run this past Sunday morning at the Reservation to run the Loop course. Many of the runners had joined the group runs the past six sundays but there were a few new faces. Most were local to [...] On the penultimate Sunday before the Loop, we had eight intrepid runners (Ciorsdan, Lee, Aarti, Virginia, Brian, Chrissy, Patty, and Rob) on this perfect day for a run in the woods. Course was the ‘Western Figure 8’ Loop. Started up the big hill out of the parking lot then left on the Deer Hollow trail from the Town Park blue trail. Past [...] 3 more Sundays to train… We are heading out for a run on Easter morning, Sunday, 4/4/10 at 8AM. We will do a shorter run and shoot to be back to the cars in less than an hour.
