Loop Runners,
Another great day today for the Leatherman’s Loop. We had 840 runners cross the finish line. (Not sure how many started!) We are assured that no one was left behind.
Results can be found here:

Thank you again for your wonderful spirit and positive energy! It made the day go (mostly) without a hitch.
One goof we found out about: Carol Dillon of Old Saybrook finished in 1:10:05 placing her first in the Women’s 60-69 category. We had her as a male finisher – sorry Carol! We rushed a pie to her car before she left. Congrats! We will make it up to her next year.
If you look at the scoring and see any other snafus, let us know and we will correct the results. We will post any corrections later in the week.
If you have photos — send them to [email protected] or let us know where you have posted them on Picasa, Flickr, Shutterfly or wherever.
Also – if you are getting this message then you are already on the notification list for next year. No need to fill out the 2009 form on the website.
Thanks again – the race is runner-driven and you all made it the success it was today. Thanks to the volunteers who made the day run smoothly.
Peace,
Mike, Kate, Rob, and the Loop Volunteers
Leatherman’s Loop Navajo/Irish Poem —————————– Beauty before me when I run. Beauty behind me when I run. Beauty below me when I run. Beauty above me when I run. Beauty beside me when I run. Beauty within me when I run I see Beauty all around. In beauty may I walk. In beauty may I see.. In beauty may we all be.
