Free Film Screening on Sept 30th: “The Loop – 25 Years”

The Invitation

The Leatherman’s Loop is a unique 10k trail race that has been held for 26 years in Cross River NY at the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation. Christy and Dean Leggiero directed, filmed and produced a documentary in 2011-2012 which celebrates the first 25 years of the Loop. It will be screened at the Phelps Memorial Hospital Main Auditorium in Sleepy Hollow on September 30th at 3:00pm.

You are invited… In fact, you are encouraged to attend! Click here to watch the trailer. Also, visit Level 92 Films’ Facebook page for an additional sneak peek featuring a clip of race co-founder Tony Godino telling how he got into running.

The screening is free and will be followed by a short question and answer session with the film makers and the Loop organizers.

As an added incentive, five entry spots for the 2013 Loop will be raffled off (free!) at the conclusion of the film.

Come out if you are interested in some local running history and a great documentary. Support independent filmmaking!

Please reply to christy@level92films.com (or RSVP via the Facebook event) with your name and the number in your group if you plan to join us. Directions to the Phelps auditorium will be sent to you after you reply.

The Reminder

The Run the Farm Races at Muscoot Farm on October 21st, 2012 are filling up fast and registration is ahead of schedule compared to the first two years. We will send out one more reminder before closing on line registration. Enter soon if you (and your kids!) plan to run.
